My Love of Country

I have made my love for our country through respecting the government that
serves the Filipino people. No matter what flaws the government have, still a mark of
being a Filipino shows how we love and obey our own law makers. Whoever God put in
the position, as a Filipino, it is our/my responsibility to not make fun of them.

No matter what political beliefs we have, still, we have to help one another so
that we can move forward and help our country to grow faster. What we can do for our
country, even the smallest thing that we consider as nothing, still contributes for who we
are, what we are and where we are. As a student, studying and focusing on my goals is
also a contribution for our country. We may not experience it today, but in the near fu-
ture, I can serve my country. Being a future educator means serving the country. serv-
ing the Filipino students, serving the Government, serving everyone. Teaching them
about academics, and most of all teaching them not to rebel against the government.
Whatever voices we have, prayer is the only answer for our cries. Let God took an ac-
tion for our country. Rebellion is not the answer. Following even of the simplest rules in
our society, like throwing our own trash in a garbage bin, registering in our own munici-
pal for voting and even being conscious for own environment. This would help to lift
everyone. By loving our own home, our family as well as the people that surrounds us.

Loving our own family, the smallest unit of society, means loving the bigger part.
Learning how to follow family rules inside the house can make an impact especially if
we were already outside our home. Not going outside during the night, breaking the rule
of curfew hours, is a big contribution to our local community. We don’t need to be a law-
yer or something in the position just to say that we love our own country. Being a part of
the society means being a part of the whole country.

The love of the country means sacrificing our own personal interest in life for the
goodness of majority. A simple post in social media, posting stuffs that was not im-
portant, and most of all, posting news that are fake, and was just opinionated, means
spreading unwanted information against other people. The most important thing to do is
to communicate with them, without the approval of other people around the media. As a
Filipino, it is also important that we must not forget who we are, and the roots of our in-
dividuality. Showing the world who we are and what we are capable of. Patronizing our
own local products, supports own local businesses here in our country.

Through giving love and joy to other people, letting them know how blessed we
are to have God in our country, is the way to unite people here in the Philippines.
