Positioning 1 Determine the position of the tank on the chassis,
maintaining a gap of at least 20 mm between the pre-
installed fuel tank and the new fuel tank.
If the position of the fuel tank bracket is in conflict with,
for example, a BWA bracket/hole pattern, it is
permitted to deviate horizontally, in 50 mm steps, to the
front or the rear. The distance between the fuel tank
brackets is 250 mm.

2 Drill the hole pattern. Remove drilling Corrosion

swarf.
3 Mount the screw plates. Apply corrosion
protection
4 Mount the spacers.

5 Mount the fuel tank brackets. 135 Nm
