The Barranquilla Carnaval is a popular festivity that takes place in February and last four days. Carnaval is a
colorful party where people wear costumes and dance tradicional music. In Barranquilla people like paint their
entire body black, march around city happily and decorates their houses. Also, they make decorations to
comparsas where famous people go around the city dancing dancing and enjoying the carnival. In addition to
that, there are many parties throughout the city with tropical music singers where people make arinas, foams
and dance a lot.
The all sants day is a religious holiday that takes place on 1 november every year in Colombia and other latin
countries with catholic religious. The purpose of all sants day is celebrate with a solemne party for all those
deceased who have obtained eternal life. Usually, the people dress white or black clothes. The celebrations is
with a eucharist where everyone thanks god for saving deceased people. In that day, the people go to the
cemetery to put flowers and candles on the altar of their dead relatives to remember that always we thanks them
by his life.
