Sir,
Ptease refer to this office tetters under reference regarding rectification/removal of
btack spots on NHs.

2. This office letters under reference has requested to submit details of long term & short
terms steps to be taken up for removal of btack spots on National Highways by PWD/MSRDC of
State Government. However, tilt dates no detaits on rectification to the btack spots on NHs
have been submitted to this office.

3. lt is once again ctarified that any btack spot present on NH fatls under any existing
contract, then the same slratt be removed either by the existing contractor and if it is beyond
the scope of the existing contract then a separate proposal shatl be submitted to this for
approva[.

4. Further, it is informed that a meeting is scheduted on 17tr' July 2O7O under chairmanship
of Hon'bte Minister regarding removal of btack spots.

5. lt has been reported that temporary measures have been compteted on at[ the
identified btack spots prior to 31.03.2020. lt is requested that a btack spot wise summary
report duty signed by concerned Executive Engineer may be urgentty provided including 4
photographs depicting the measurc.s taken as proof (Annexure-l).

6. For long term measures, as per letter under reference foltowing details may be
submitted btack spot wise:-

(i) Long term measures proposed.

(ii) Finatized improvement drawing.
(iii) Tentative cost
 (iv) Time of construction
(v) Likety date of start
(vi) Likety date of comptetion
(vii) Source of fund for improvement
(by COS in any existing contract/new
estimate)
