Students will then be put into groups to
research the adaptations of an
Australian plant or animal, they will
use the website pixton to create a
comic strip explaining their findind of
these adaptions. creating a small
PowerPoint explaining their findings.
They will provide videos and images as
well.

- The teacher will further give an

example that the students would be
more familiar too. I would use the
popular game of Pokemon GO. I would
use the example of Eevee, a Pokemon
who “evolves” depending on their
environment. This would be done to
help cememnt the students
understanding. From here I would use
Kahoot, an online quiz which all the
students would do to make sure they
had gain an understanding of the
concept.

Once the students gain an

understanding of the topic, for the
final part of the lesson the teacher will
split the students into groups of 3 or 4.
It is here that the students will be
given an Australian plant or animal to
research looking for the adaptations
that help them survive the Australian
environment. They will use the
website Pixton so that they create a
comic strip displaying their
