Ayden Does not like physical
activity. Is quite clumsy
however will run around
and play chasey.
Josh Does not have fantastic
gross and fine motor skills.
At recess and lunch likes to
play football and
basketball.
Jacob Has excellent gross motor
skills. Plays football and
basketball on a day to day
basis.
SOCIAL / EMOTIONAL
Has good social skills
however, when it comes to
emotions he often gets
angry at small little things
and has an outburst.
Has ASD so finds it hard to
control and communicate
how he is feeling. Used
visuals to display how he is
feeling, which is placed on
his desk.
Can control his emotions
better. He has good social
skills as he often
communicates to however
is around him.
INTELLECTUAL
Average achieving student
however, due to lack of
concentration and
commitment to his work,
will often not do his work.
Average achieving.
Understands what he is
doing however finds it
difficult to put his
understanding on paper.
Low achieving in both
maths and literacy. Often
needs a lot of guidance
with tasks to be completed.
IMPLICATIONS FOR
LEARNING
Needs more hands on
experiences to be more
involved in his learning.
Has poor listening skills.
Has ASD and often
struggles with his emotions
which plays a huge role in
how well he does during
lessons. Josh will often say
he is frustrated to get out of
doing his work.
Rewards for doing work
and when on task.
Could develop strategies to
comprehend and regulate
his emotions during high
stress times.
Has ADHD and will find
himself walking around the
room for no particular
reason. Does his work
standing up as he cannot
sit still for a long period of
time.
Ava Good fine motor skills
however, is not a fan of
physical activity apart from
cheerleading and dancing.
Enjoys being around her
friends. Excellent at
following instructions and
maintaining this throughout
lessons.
Average achieving in both
maths and literacy. Will
often seek help when
needed and does most of
her work individually.
Has a younger baby sister,
so is often withdrawn from
lessons and is tired
throughout the day.

Isla Is a fan of dancing.
Throughout placement
made dances.
Hangs out with a large
group of friends. Will often
talk and get distracted
during lessons. Found it
hard to complete work due
to talking.
Average achieving in both
literacy and numeracy.
Often does the work by
herself and will give it a try
if instructions are not clear.
Talks a lot during lessons -
behaviour management.
Uses group work to talk
through her ideas.

Chloe Loves to do Judo and
football. Has great physical
development.
Often hangs out with
anyone, forms strong
social relationships with
anybody.
High achieving in both
literacy and numeracy. Will
complete tasks easily and
often needs extension
tasks.
Can have extension work,
especially in mathematics,
as she often finishes early.

Jordan High development in this
area, showing interest in
football and wanting to
continue developing
different skills.
Has high social
competence in forming
relationships, developing
skills of appropriate social
interactions in situations
Has good academics. Is Can have extension work,
focused and will do his especially in mathematics
work quickly. and writing, as he often
finishes work quickly.

however will rush his ideas. down and take his time

questions.
