1. Tell in your own words, what the ATA 29 talks about and give some examples. (Don’t write jus
the name of the ATA)

The ATA 29 talks about the hydraulic system that the aircraft has, this system is quite
fundamental since they supply hydraulic energy through a fluid to operate the main
machinery of the aircraft or even other mechanical components, for example: flight
control surfaces, train landing gear, cargo compartment doors, and brakes also help
activate the thrust reversers. The pipes of this system in an aircraft are identified by the
colors green, blue and yellow. The hydraulic system works on the principle of Pascal's law
which says that the pressure in an enclosed fluid is uniform in all the directions.
