Read all these

recommendations
carefully to make the
best of your scene.

1. All scenes are modified according to the number of students. There are some extra
scenes that can be included or not, depending on the number of members in each
group.
2. Read everything very well, specially punctuation and the words in brackets or
parenthesis to follow some indications. These indications along with punctuation
will make your scene look better.
Example: ( [He goes to the kitchen, crying]. / [Maria is sitting down waiting for
instructions] / BOB. Hi my name is Bob, nice to meet you.)
3.Whenever you have any problems to understand the scripts, or any word please follow
these steps:
a. Highlight the word with a marker or a pen. Then look it up on the recommended tools
from the webpage or in a physical dictionary.
b. Ask your teacher about any word you do not understand.
c. Avoid translating expressions and words, this is not a good way for learning and
understanding your lines.
d. Focus on pronunciation, comprehension and fluency. Work in both ways individually
and in group, this will help you succeed and enjoy even more your projects.

PHOEBE
This is not fair, This is a free country and I have the right to have coffee wherever I want, no matter
how bad it tastes; seriously, it’s like a big mug of tar.

GUNTHER
If you don’t like our coffee, why do you keep coming?

(Joey arrives at the scene and apologizes to Gunther)

JOEY
Sorry I took so long.
