Foreign language teaching has different educational and educational goals at different levels of the
school.
The main task of teaching at the elementary level is to stimulate the interest of the student, to strengthen
the motivation: adults should love the language learning process and the foreign language and culture
itself. Feelings of failure in the learning process should be ruled out. To do this, teaching methods must
take into account the peculiarities of students' mental development and use appropriate teaching
methods.
I think it is a Sociolinguistic competence that helps students use language properly in communication.
The main task of teaching at the basic level is to prepare the student to make such important decisions as
choosing a path (getting involved in an active life, getting a professional education, continuing to study at
school). To ensure this, teaching methods should be introduced in the teaching methodology that will
reveal the characteristics of the student's potential.
Teaching a foreign language at the secondary level The main goal of foreign language education remains
to develop civic awareness and creative skills in the student.

Whichever field the student chooses for his / her professional activities, he / she will need a foreign
language as a tool to enrich his / her knowledge and experience. Thus, the educational goal of teaching a
foreign language at the secondary level is to provide the student with such knowledge that he / she will
be able to speak one or two foreign languages:
1) Understand, analyze and process various oral or written texts (report, business letter, interview,
abstract, biography, publicist letter, cognitive text, etc.) for further use in educational activities;
2) Expressing and substantiating oral or written explanations, one's own opinion, attitude;
3) Compiling friendly or business letters, presenting an oral report / project on current topics, etc.
It is both a discourse and a strategic competence that helps students identify and correct communication
damage.
