Jobs and occupations from my community

TIME TO CHANGE!
During the lockdown, Rosalinda adapted her business to the new
normal. Let’s read more about the changes she made to her routine:
She used to go to the market every morning to buy all the
ingredients needed to make anticuchos, but now her son buys the
ingredients because he doesn’t want her to get sick.
She used to open her food stand at 11:00 a.m., but now she arrives

Her customers used to sit around the stand to eat, but now they take

hard-working and extra careful when they disinfect the cookware
they use to prepare the food.
Rosalinda says, “I cook for my customers the same way I cook for
my family.”

NEW NORMAL, NEW JOB!

During the lockdown, Felix’s job at a restaurant in Iquitos has
changed a lot. Let’s read more about his new job.
Felix used to be a waiter, but now he delivers food to his
customers’ houses on his bike. Before the pandemic, he used
to start work at 12:00 p.m., but now he wakes up at 8:00 in
the morning and delivers food all over the city of Iquitos.

Felix misses his co-workers and the people at the restaurant,
but he likes riding his bike to different places every day.
