PURPOSIVE COMMUNICATION

1. Based on the video, how can you define "communication"?

If I were to base on the video of what communication is, I probably say that
communication basically occurs/happen between two (or more) person, and there is no
communication without other people. Communication also is a process of transferring
ideas and thoughts to other person which is the receiver of the message. Being deaf or
mute doesn’t mean you are not able to communicate to others, because communication
can be done by giving signals, making gestures, and many more ways.

2. What makes communication complex and complicated in a way shown in the video?
There is poor mutual understanding between the two people, since one is deaf and
mute and the other one are capable of speaking. It complicates the way of how they
communicate since they lack of mutual understanding.

3. What recommendations can you give to make communication more convenient in a

situation presented in the video?
They can actually use other ways to communicate with each other; they can do
signals, make hand or body gestures. They can even communicate properly if the other
one has the ability to make a conversation to someone who is deaf and mute.
