Arturo B. Bayocot, Ed.D.

Schools Division Superintendent
Department of Education-Province of Zamboanga Del Sur
DepEd Provincial Office, Dao, Pagadian City

Dear Dr. Bayocot:

Good day.

I would like to apply for a teaching position at Balongating National High school.

I graduated last 2012 with the degree Bachelor of art-Major in English and Minor in Political
Science. While it happened that I took the latter as my minor area of specialization, it is hoped
that this meagre exposure to the field, together with a few courses in Philosophy which I took
as a seminarian, would qualify me as a legitimate contender for a Social science post in the said
school, owing in part to the reportedly high number of English Major applicants these days. Yet
on top of that, I already welcomed the prospect of teaching this subject even when I was only a
student. Happily i had a one year experience as a part-time college instructor (I was a full time
office personnel then) and I really liked teaching (and learning) from the ideas of men who rose
through the ranks of humanity and on to greatness. And, if I may add, I see in the social
sciences the proper and of education for which the English language, like the Spanish of Rizal,
happened to be the best means available.

An idealist, I dream of contributing something that would someday serve as my mark in the
world. But since I also have to attend to far more basic means of survival, I am pressed, as we
all are, to look for living. And what job would amuse me more than teaching? If afforded your
trust, I would be more than willing to undergo further training.

Attached are my pertinent documents. Thank you so much for spending time reviewing my
resume.

Sincerely and With all due respect,

Anna Marijell A. Ragusta
