This week task is about inquiry for logistics process, contact person, types of
services and its standard rates. We picked three of the largest logistics company
operating here in the Philippines and these are Royal Cargo Inc. , F2 Logistics
Philippines Inc. and AAI Worldwide Logistics Inc. We conducted face to face meeting
to those companies to understand the different process of logistics and the services they
have, for us to familiarize on the concept of freight forwading, cargo transportation,
warehousing and other mobilization concepts.
We start the face to face meeting on Wednesday with the representative of Royal
Cargo Inc. This company has a wide experience of Logistics services for construction
that includes power plant projects. This company also have previous transactions with
NEPC Power Construction Corporation. The Following are some of their services:
Custom Clearance and Brokerage, Freight Forwarding, Eco zone and free ports
logistics, Fleet Distribution, Crane and Erection, Clinical Trial Depot,
Warehousing, liquid and project transportation.
We also conducted Face to Face meeting with F2 Logistics on Thursday
and Royal Cargo Inc in the following day of Friday. Based on the result of our
meeting, we found out that those three logistics company has the capability to
provide services for power plants project and can handle large equipment freight
forwarding regardless of its weight and size. They can also do business
anywhere in the Philippines thru the country’s major ports.
Based on my own evaluation Royal Cargo is my choice of logistics services
for our power plants projects for several reasons. First is their wide experience in
cargo and freight forwarding of heavy equipments and materials for a power
plant construction projects. Second they provide good service for a right and
cheap value and lastly they provide extra services such as feasibility studies so
that they can deliver their services of the best quality with no addition cost. They
also show us their equipments such as gantry crane, tower crane, mobile crane
and they have experience rigger personal that shows that they can handle large
equipments and materials.
I also deliver gift for the mid autumn festival to Ray Panlilio a lawyer at
Ortigas Business Center, Taguig City.
