PROJECT SUMMARY:

With the Department’s commitment towards ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our learners,
new modes of delivering the curriculum competencies is being considered. This is when technology aids in
educating them through provision of a new learning experience and easier ways of assessing learning outcomes.
Deped Bohol Manipulative/Engagement Mobile App Compilation aims to equip students and teachers to
a new flatforms with manipulative functions and very rich engagement activities in All in One Application taken
from different free existing application online readily available for teachers, and students as an aid to meet the
competencies given by the department. thus, learning can be administered at any place, and at any time. It aims
to ease the teaching-learning process and motivate students to learn at their own pace.

PROJECT BACKGROUND:

In the recent situation the country faces right now, new norms are commended in delivering our lessons.
This stems from the salient points in the Enhanced K-12 Basic Education which focuses on providing an
enriched, responsive, and a learner-centered curriculum. In a world where information can be readily accessed
by anyone, educators must also learn to adapt and utilize this medium. This is when technology helps in
educating our learners.

Providing a learner-centered classroom is one of the key areas that the enhanced K to 12 Basic
Education focused. Despite the suggested limited contact time allotted with the learners, teachers must still
easily cater to the diverse learning rates, developmental stages, academic and non-academic needs of the
learners.

In order to foster learner-centeredness, social competence, resourcefulness, autonomy and sense of


purpose in student assessment and teaching strategies must be adopted in schools. It has been anticipated that
upon finishing the K-12 curriculum, learners have been equipped with the 21 st century skills to become more
globally competent. Thus, the 21st century learners we have today are familiar in the internet with graphical
interface and could easily adjust to new programs and devices provided to them.

Thus this ccompilation of the different application into All in One Functioning Application with its
dynamic functions ready made, and available for the teachers and students onece they will install the
application.These integration of technology in the classroom setting is a good way to be flexible to the current
needs in the local setting and promoting learners’ interest. Intrinsic motivation roots from the learners’ natural
curiosity and stimulated from novelty tasks. Diversity of learners is also taken into consideration because they

can finish at their own pace. This gives the students the time to review and master the tasks installed within the
application.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

To provide a learner-centered environment for the 21st century learners, the Teachers Mobile App Building
Workshop aims to:

 Provide a new flatforms of lerning with manipulative functions and very rich engagement activities that
will give students not only learning but also enjoyment.
 Improve the teaching-learning process that will adapt to the new norms in delivering lessons
 Integrate technology in the classroom setting which can be readily accessed by the teachers and learners
anytime, anywhere.
 Consider the diversity of learners to learn at their own pace, thus providing autonomy over their work
progress
 Provide self-evaluation for students and repeat this process until quality is achieved

C. PROJECT RISK MANAGEMENT

 The mobile application is yet to be tested on different android cellphones for there will be cases that the
application may crash and restart to none tested version of android operating system, but the developer
is constantly developing the application so that it will run to several platform of android devices and be
able to be install even in IOS operating system..
 Student with no Mobile devices will deprived by this program.

PROJECT COSTS:

The task force will be using free flatform online to develop the different appliaction, the application it
will be free of charge, However if the program will be successful the taskforce to buy a full license of the
flatform to enjoy its full functionality. It also need to be uploaded in playstore for easy access of the different
application online which need One Time payment.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION:

A dry run of the application /program will be done first within the task force and selected supervisors,
teachers and students to assess the plausibility of the application. After the dry run is conducted, the taskfroce
may proceed in catering possible glitsches of the program.

The Application will be then implemented in the department of education in division of bohol and will
be closely monitored by the teachers, principal, and supervisors on the effectiveness of the program.

NEXT STEPS:

 Upon ensuring success of the implementation of the program in the teacher and students in Bohol
Division, the taskforce will continue to develop meaningful, engaging, and productive application.
 Test items and Supplemental notes from different District Specialists and across various subject areas
shall be encouraged to ensure collaboration among all teachers.
