With the right main valve and left purge valve closed, incoming
wet airflows through the inlet valve block into the bottom of the
left vessel; moisture is removed from the airstream by the
desiccant. Dry air exits the top of the vessel and divides into
two streams. Process air exits through the check valve and out
through an afterfilter and continues to the process.
The other portion of the dried air (purge air) is limeted through
a orifice and reduced to atmospheric pressure, greatly
expanding its volume. The expanded purge air flows down
through the right vessel and out through the right purge
exhaust valve and muffler, carrying away moisture absorbed by

switchover the left chamber inlet valve opens, the right CV1, CV2 Check valve
chamber inlet valve closes. This ensures a continues flow I1 Indicator
