1. Afro-Colombian life

Afro-Colombians' lives have been quite hard, because there are people
who discriminate against them because of their skin color and this has
created that some black people feel sorry for their skin tone, and do not
accept that they are black, despite the fact that in full 21st century
there is discrimination against these people, a month has been created
honoring Afro-Colombianism.

2. My point of view

Yes, I agree with the writer of the previous text, because it is true that
racist society has created that some black people feel shame for their
skin color, the part in which the writer says that the most affected
region is the one that lives around of the Pacific, it is true because the
armed groups take advantage of the fact that this area is jungle and
they hide to avoid being perceived, it is also true that the economic
situation of Afro-Colombians is quite difficult because in most of their
lives they do not manage to obtain high positions for its skin color.

3. My thinking about discrimination

Discrimination or racism is a rather complicated topic to deal with
because it is something that currently continues to happen around the
world, in some places discrimination is stronger than in others, despite
the fact that in some marches are made to combat this is impossible to
completely disappear because there are people who continue with a
retrograde thought and this thought is transmitted to their children or
grandchildren.
