Instruction: Consult sources for IEEE style sheets. Since the style sheets for APA and
CMS refer to journal sources, obtain the respective formats for book sources because the
styles for book sources are not the same as that for journal sources.

Examples of In-text Citations and Corresponding List of Reference Entry using APA,
CMS, and IEEE for Book Sources.

A. American Psychological Association (APA)


 In – Text Citation:
- The software habits of consumers in internet stores are mainly for
surfing and communication behaviors rather than behaving. Internet
shop customers have ranked themselves ready for e-learning, with
females having significantly higher e-learning skills than males
(Alontaga, 2018).
- A recent study shows that false information is still prevalent on
Facebook despite the changes to the news feed algorithm in the year
2018 (Newswhip, 2018).

B. Chicago Manual of Style (CMS)
 In – Text Citation:
- A business strategy defines how a company will compete, what its
goals will be, and what policies it will support to achieve those goals
(Harmon 2010, 31).
- Holst-Warhaft (2002, 16) states that laments are usually performed by
women in Greek literature. While men’s weeping tend to be
inarticulate, women are able to turn their weeping into a controlled,
often contemplative lament.
