Activity 2

Directions: Analyze the telephone conversation and answer the questions

follow.

1. Describe the attitude of the two communicators.

The tone of their voices matches each other. It only means one thing, they are

communicating very well. The tone of their voice is welcoming, polite and

friendly.
2. Enumerate the information shared by the communicators.

The host starts by greeting the invitee and asking how s/he is to which the invitee

answered and asked what is the purpose of the call and the Host just wanted to

ask the Invitee a favor. The Invitee agreed and asked what the favor is and the

Host begins by politely asking the Invitee to come to the Host’s house to help him

edit a video for school, the Invitee retorts in agreement. The host now then asked

the time the Invitee is able to come to which the invitee answered that he/she is

free in that very night. The Invitee then begin to ask the direction of the Host’s

house, the host then explains to the invitee the way on how the Invitee could get

to the host’s house and then the Invitee stated that s/he will be there at 5:00

o’clock after that they bid their farewell.
