 Format of Audio Lesson


Introduction: Students are introduced to what nutrients are and
their types

Sources and Functions of nutrients: Students know about the


various sources and functions of each nutrient. Student can try to
obtain a food source of each nutrient at home during the lesson.

Assignment: Student can create a diet plan for an athlete based on


their knowledge of nutrients. Lesson to include instructions and
steps to create a diet plan.

Support Material

Identify support materials that you can use to encourage active
participation in the course.

• Printed packets that can be sent to students containing reading


and pictures. Students can refer to it as the listen to the podcast.

• Youtube video to be viewed at the end of the podcast (will


depend on student having access to high speed internet and
compatible device)

• Worksheets
