2. Evaluate the nutrition’s of the foods.

3. Apply the Go, Glow and Grow on their personal nutrition’s needs.

Materials: Laptop, Projector to display the lesson

III. PROCEDURES

Greet the students and tell them to arrange the chairs properly.

• Checking of Attendance

• Recall about the last topic

• Motivation

Showing a video that shows the important of nutrition, Playing 4pics1word showing images related to
the lesson (Answers: Malnutrition, Diet, Nutrition)

The teacher present the lesson for today and discuss:

• Types of Nutrients

• Food Pyramid

D. Development of the Lesson

a. Activity

This activity is called "Food Pyramid". Teacher will draw a food pyramid on the board and every students
give a food and write it on the food pyramid on where that food belong wether in Go, Grow, or Glow.

b. Analysis

Ask: Why nutrition is important?

What is malnutrition?

Why proper diet is important?

What are the seven elements of nutrition?

What is the importance of food pyramid?

c. Abstraction

Students will complete the unfinished statements:

- I learned that..

- I conclude that..

- Proper nutrition helps..

d. Application

The class will be group with 5 members. Each group will bring any kind of food with nutrition facts, every
group will analyze the nutrition of their chosen food and tell if it is healthy or not.

Their performance will be graded based on this rubrics.

IV. ASSIGNMENT

Teacher will give students an activity paper which is called "My food diary". Students will write on the
paper what are the foods they eat or the lists of the food they eat in breakfast, lunch, snack time, and
dinner within a week.
