RECOMMENDATIONS

MEDICATION

 Paracetamol 500mg 1 tab

 Chloramphenicol 3-4 grams OD PO

ENVIRONMENT/EXERCISE

 Encourage the patient to have a clean and safe surrounding.

 Instruct client to rest if needed.
 Advise the client to maintained movement if tolerable.

TREATMENT

 Instruct patient to drink plenty of fluids, including water, juices, and soups, and eating fruits to
prevent dehydration.

HEALTH TEACHING

 Advise client to practice good handwashing techniques.

OUT PATIENT

 Encourage the patient to wash fruits thoroughly and to avoid cross-contamination of food.
 Instruct the patient to cook foods thoroughly and refrigerate promptly

DIET

 Instruct patient to eat small frequent meals to help prevent vomiting if occurs.

SPIRITUAL

 Encourage the patient to maintain his faith with God.

 Encourage the family to provide emotional support.
