According to the text that deals with volcanoes.

Many of us wonder what is a volcano?
The volcano is a mountain with an opening that expels gases and lava from the surface
of the earth to the air. The text also tells us about volcanic lava that is a red-hot rock
that reaches the surface of the Earth through the volcano, has approximately 1,000
degrees Celsius, how many volcanoes are there in the world? There are 850 active
volcanoes in the world, sixty percent are in an area called ring of fire located in the
Pacific Ocean.
The largest volcano is Mauna on the island of Hawaii. It also tells us between the
difference between an extinct and active volcano, the difference is that the active one
can erupt at any time while the extinct has stopped. We can understand about the text
one of the biggest eruptions of the twentieth century was spilled Thanks to scientists,
more than 100,000 people left the area. Before the volcano erupted.

 ANSWER THE QUESTIONS WITH COMPLETE ANSWERS

1. What is the Lava temperature?

The lava has a temperature of about 1, OOO degrees Celsius, ten times hotter than
boiling water!

2. What is the speed at which lava can move?

The lava can move as fast as 55 kph ... faster than most animals can run.

3. How many volcanoes are there active in the world?

In the world there are about 850 active volcanoes

4. What is the location of Mauna Loa?

It is located on the Island of Hawaii and is considered the largest volcano on Earth in terms
of area and volumen.

5. What is the date when Vesuvius erupted?

Vesuvius exploded on August 24, 79, Vesuvius volcano, in southern Italy, erupted,
sweeping the cities of Herculaneum and Pompeii.

6. what happens when the volcanoes erupt?

The volcano erupts when there is a violent escape of gases and lava from the volcano. The
eruptions are a consequence of the increase in temperature in the magma that is inside the
earth's mantle. This causes a volcanic eruption in which boiling lava is expelled, can generate
melting of ice and glaciers, landslides, floods, loss of human lives etc.

7. Can we predict the volcanoes eruption?

Today, scientists generally know when a volcano will erupt. In a way, it is possible to
anticipate an eruption. Volcanologists can do so if they know the eruptive history of the
volcano and have installed the right instruments to monitor the data that comes from inside.
A set of seismographs, placed in strategic locations, allows detailed monitoring of all seismic
movements that accompany the rise of magma from inside the earth's mantle, which are
broadcast continuously by radio and during the twenty-four hours of the day

8. Names two volcanoes in Peru and its location

Misti volcano
It is the symbol of the city of Arequipa. It is located at the foot of the Chili Valley, within
the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, at an altitude of 2,400 meters above sea
level. Its antiquity dates from approximately 800 thousand years. It is called Misti for its
meaning in Quechua: ´man of white race. His last significant volcanic activity was in the
year 1870.
Huaynaputina volcano
Located 75 kilometers southeast of the city of Arequipa, in the General Sánchez Cerro
province, department of Moquegua, the Huaynaputina volcano has an extensive plain (4,500
meters above sea level) that has three openings or craters adjacent to the edges of a deep
valley . Its craters are 70 and 150 meters in diameter and depths of up to 100 meters.

9. Do we have volcanoes in Ancash?

There can be no volcanoes in Ancash After fears caused by the emanations of gases and
smell of sulfur in Ancash
Hernando Tavera, director of seismology at the Geophysical Institute of Peru (PGI), ruled
out the presence of volcanoes in Ancash by clarifying that volcanic activity is "exclusive" in
the southern part of Peru.
"Volcanic activity only and exclusively exists in the southern part of Peru. It is a sharp thing,"
said the scientist.

10. Is a volcano dangerous?

Volcanoes can be dangerous even when they are not erupting, although it is necessary to
understand that there are different levels of risk depending on the state of the volcano. It is
dangerous due to its lava flow, mud flows, avalanches, risks of ashes and pumice frogs,
dangers of pyroclastic flows and waves and volcanic gases
