1.Open a PowerPoint presentation.

2.Insert a picture from a file on your computer. (ANY PICTURE)


3.Insert the picture into your presentation.

4.Resize and move the picture.


5.Capture and insert a screenshot or screen clipping into a slide. (any
screen shot picture)

HANDS-ON EXERCISE #2
1.Open your PowerPoint file My_pptactivities.
2.Insert slide 2. In slide 2, insert your sample picture.

3.Resize the picture.
4.Remove the background from an image.

5.Crop an image.
6.Experiment with different image corrections and color settings.

7.Add an artistic effect to an image.

1.Open your PowerPoint file My_pptactivities.

2.Add some WordArt effects to the text.


3.Insert a shape.

4.Change the shape to a different shape.


5.Change the fill color.

6.Change the outline color.


7.Try various shadow effects.

8.Try various 3D effects.


HANDS-ON EXERCISE #4
1.Open an existing PowerPoint presentation.

2.Insert a video from a file on your computer, if you have one.

3.Preview the video
4. Trim the video.

5.Add a fade in and fade out.

6.Add a poster frame.


7.Experiment with the different Video Options on the Playback tab.
HANDS-ON EXERCISE #4
1.Open your PowerPoint file My_pptactivities.

2.Insert a sound from a file from your computer, if you have one.


3.Preview the audio file.

4.Trim the audio file


5.Add a fade in and fade out.

6.Experiment with the different Audio Options on the Playback tab.


8.Change the picture for one of the audio files.
