CCPB certifies organic and eco-sustainable products worldwide. As inspection and certification
body it operates in the agro-food industry and in the non-food sector, more specifically cosmetics,
detergents and textiles. Today CCPB certifies about 13,000 companies in Italy and worldwide, of
which 11,500 in the organic production sector; this includes well-established industrial groups,
large-scale retailers, small and medium-sized enterprises and start-up companies. Making the
production process more efficient and sustainable is the goal of CCPB professionals.

ORGANIC TEXTILES CERTIFICATION

Organic textiles involve the use of natural fibres and of eco-sustainable processes. CCPB certifies this through two
international standards: GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and Organic Content Standard (OCS), promoted by
Textile Exchange. A textile product can be defined as organic when its fibres are obtained using an organic method and
its manufacturing processes comply with specific environmental and social protection requirements. In the area of
Sustainable Textiles, CCPB certifies products, processes and organisations according to standards designed by Textile
Exchange: GRS (Global Recycled Standard) and RCS (Recycled Claim Standard).

ORGANIC AGRI-FOOD

CCPB has been authorized as a control and certification body for organic products, in Europe and worldwide.

CCPB certifies agri-food and no food products, according to international standards such as integrated production, house
and laundry detergents, food chain traceability, GLOBALGAP, vegan products, products with protected designation of
origin, product and sustainability certification. CCPB is also active in cosmetics certification.
