General requirements
We aim to have a very high standard on both the quality of the garment as well as in
the production. In addition to the quality tests we will also perform inspections during
production. As a supplier to us you have to fulfil our quality requirements. Be sure
that all parts of the garment meet the quality requirements.

Test instruction
Tests according to our instructions have to be performed at the suppliers’ expense.
Tests are recommended to be made at a testing institute appointed by us. Routines
pls contact Quality dept. for further information The merchandisers can ask for test
made by independent laboratories if necessary. The result of the test is to be sent to
the merchandiser or handled by Quality dept. on suppliers’ expense. This has to be
done before or at the same time as the counter sample approval not to delay
production.
Chemical analysis
Chemical compounds and substances which are restricted or prohibited in garments
will not be accepted in our products. See appendix “Chemical restrictions” and
concerns all parts of textiles, clothing, leather goods and shoes.
Analyses are recommended to be made at a testing institute appointed by us.

The merchandisers or buyers can ask for test made by independent laboratories if
necessary or be handled by Quality dept.
Fabrics to be tested:
1. Fabric with a square weight below 90 g/m2
Fabric with loose construction, even heavier, we
recommend to test fabric with weight less than 100 g/m2
to be sure that the requirements are fulfilled.
2. Long pile fabric and Fabric with raised surface.
All kinds of fake fur but also other with brushed surface,
please do risk assessment and send for test.
3. No PVC coating used, to be confirmed
Finish
The garments must be free from dirt and stain and free from loose threads.
The garments must show no twisting and be free from seam puckering.
All seams must be finished properly and ends must be firmly secured and no seam
damages.
Labels for size, logo and care instructions must be sewn-in without damaging the
fabric and be readable after wash/cleaning.
Accessories and trims must be controlled for relevant tests and not include harmful
substances.
The garments, trims and accessories must not have sharp edges or sticky parts in
contact with the skin.

Dry 2-3 Wet 1 Additional extra hang tag with warning of low dry rubbing (only
accepted in very special styles) Lower results for colour fastness to
water and perspiration also to be expected.

Relevant instructions can be given separately from this instruction depending of article
and use such as umbrellas and shoes.
Other finishing than required must be specified because of additional chemical tests
or calculations according to REACH
Each sunglass and technical documentation must fulfil the requirements for CE
marking according to European legislation and United States Federal Regulations
and Australian/New Zeeland regulations.
Test instruction
Tests according to our instructions have to be performed at the suppliers’ expense.
The test made by independent laboratories must be included when ordered.
Chemical analysis
Chemical compounds and substances which are restricted or prohibited in
accessories will not be accepted in our products.
The accessories must not have sharp edges or sticky parts in contact with the skin.
Folder can be with explanation of the filter cat. and the standard EN 1836:2005 /
A1:2007. In the folder lay-out also Weekday Brands address, RN and CA number
and information “not for direct viewing of the sun” and cleaning info.
We would like all out garments to fulfill the requirements but we also know some of
the criteria can be difficult to reach for different denim products.
