Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring that Quality Control Supervisors and
Technician perform all work in a manner compliant with QMS requirements and company
policies and procedures. This person must be capable to provide leadership to the Quality
Control staff including mentoring, coaching, training, performance management and employee
development.
Manage and supervise the activities of the CMM Operator, Quality Control Supervisor and
Technicians
Be an effective member of quality committee and top management team at JM Die Ltd.
Enforce and follow applicable work instructions and maintain appropriate records
Follow quality management system policy, procedures and work instructions manuals
Meet quality management system objectives
Review and implement quality control inspections to meet customer and regulatory
requirements
Maintain, update, and approve inspection instructions, control plan, PPAP documents, work
instructions, inspection and test plans, for products in production
For Revision Change products (ECN): provides current PPAP documentation to Quality
Assurance Manager for update
Address customer complaints, concerns and follow-up corrective actions in timely manner
Train Quality Control Supervisor and Technicians for receiving, in-process, first-off and final
inspection activities
Implements Layered Process Audits as developed by Quality Assurance Manager and ensures
completion by Operations
Review the non-conformance report and assist quality committee to implement corrective and
preventive actions
Investigate and report on all customer complaints assuring corrective action to prevent
recurrence
Control non-conforming products and manage Hold Register and Quarantine area
Certify that customer supplied products or services comply with specified requirements and that
they are consistent with the quality requirements of the final products or services
Measure loss of time due to quality issues, analyze root cause and implement corrective actions
Perform periodic calibration of measuring, inspection and test equipment, and assign calibration
equipments, appropriate work instructions, work order and inspection instructions
Issue request for purchasing, measuring and monitoring devices
Maintain customer supplied gauges, fixtures, test equipment and calibrate them as per frequency
