Job purpose
We are looking for someone who has the skill set to oversee the daily operations of our store and
make sure everything is running smoothly. As a store manager he/she will supervise everything in
the store, such as administrative tasks, monitoring inventory and come up with strategies to make
the business run more effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities


 proficient at customer service so we can retain our customers.
 Manage all the janitorial staff
 Come up with strategies to build good customer relations and keep them satisfied.
 Budget control and productivity will be managed by the store supervisor.
 He/she will be in charge of maintenance of the store.
 He/she will be in charge of inventory and restocking and purchasing.
 Making sure equipment used in store are in their best health and is responsible for
maintenance.
 He/she will be in charge of responding to customer complains.
 He/she will undertake store administration duties.
 He/she will ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations.
 Responsible to attend meetings and training sessions as required.
 Enforce and effectively communicate company policies and procedures to all personnel.

Qualifications
 Bachelor's degree in business Administration or similar field.
 Strong leadership skills and team working skills.
 Excellent interpersonal skills.
 Proficient convincer.
 2 years of experience working at a leadership role preferably at a retail environment.

Working conditions
Retail store managers have to work at late and can be at irregular hours as they are authoritative of
many tasks and duties. They will be expected to work shifts at any time the store is open. This
suggests that on weekends, on public holidays, and on evenings when retailers have late night
selling, retail sales managers also work. Constant rush hours may not be irritating because there will
be noise. There will be fussy customers thus hear them out.
Physical Requirements
Despite tasks being allocated , it is expected for the person to be on toes, taking continuous rounds
of the floor making sure everything is functioned smoothly. Communication is the key thus talking
through the day. Balancing , bending , carrying , climbing , crouching , lifting and pulling etc are
occasional this 33% of the time frequency.
