Lesson Summary:
First, I will start with circle time. After I will ask my students if they knew what the word
technology meant? After having boys and girls raise their hands and answer what they think
technology means, I will then describe the word for them. I would say Technology is the tools
and Machines that help solve problems or to do new things. After I would say I want you
guys to think about some technology we have at school or at home. I would write down
children’s answers on a poster board.

Please take the time to provide a clear narrative as to how the lesson will unfold.

Day 1: Will be the poster of technology. After the poster I would say I want you to go home and look to see what
technology you see in your house and share with us tomorrow.
Day 2: Will be sharing what technology we found at home.
Day 3: Will be voting on what technology is their favorite…
Each child will be able to come up and vote for what technology is their favorite- television, computers, tablets, etc.
Day 4: Show pictures files of inventions and technology with the class.
Day 5: I will have children come up with technology of their own by drawling a design!! Then they all could share with
the class!
