A. Matriculation

In order to matriculate with the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, participant must submit:

1. Matriculation Form;
2. Two passport-size photos;
3. Copy of passport or Voter’s ID or National Identity Card;
4. Curriculum Vitae;
5. Copy of Bachelor Degree Certificate and Transcript of grades;
6. “Dichiarazione di Valore”1.

These documents shall be delivered to the Università Cattolica at least 2 weeks prior to the start of courses
or, in case of the “Dichiarazione di Valore”, within 6 months from the start.

In case this documentation is missing, Università Cattolica will not be able to matriculate participants and
recognize the degree they have submitted.

B. Requirements to Graduate

In order to qualify for the MBA's degree, each participants must:

1. have attended no less than 80% of total class hours;


2. have accrued no less than 60 credits through passing exams and presenting the business plan;
3. have submitted the Transcripts, Degree Certificate, ID copy, Picture.
4. Submit all the assignments respecting the provided deadlines;
5. Pitch at the final Business Competition;
6. Adhere to the Code of Honour;
7. Pay fully the tuition fee respecting the stipulated deadlines.

A participant is given 1 year after the conclusion of the final boot camp to make up his/her situation. Missing
the timeline to join the graduation for the following batch, the participant loses the chance to graduate.

C. Absence

▪ Absence could be accepted only in exceptional cases and it must not be more than 25% of the class hours.
In case of absence above 25% of the class hours, the participant will not receive the MBA Degree and the
MBA Administration will consider the possibility of expelling him/her from the MBA.
▪ Fees already paid are not refundable unless in the case of overpayment of the total amount.
▪ Participants that for serious and motivated reasons (illness, personal problems or other)
cannot attend lessons must inform the MBA Administration in advance.
▪ Participants who because of health reasons cannot attend the exams, should produce a medical certificate.
▪ Leaving the class during lessons or re-entering the classroom while the class is in session is seriously
prohibited.

“Dichiarazione di Valore” is a certificate issued by the Italian Embassy that authenticates a foreign degree certificate. To obtain
it the Applicant must apply to the Italian Embassy of the country where he/she completed his/her university studies and provide them
with a notarized translation of the diploma in the Italian language. In some countries, obtaining the “Dichiarazione di Valore” may
take up to two months or longer. The Universita Cattolica’s Masters Division can assist the applicants in their effort to obtain the
“Dichiarazione di Valore”.

D. Punctuality

▪ All the class sessions will start exactly at the time indicated in the calendar.
▪ Class attendance sheets will be circulated and signed within the first 15 minutes of every class session.
▪ In order to avoid interruptions and disturbance, participants arriving after 15 minutes will be admitted in
class (and will considered present) only after the first upcoming break.

E. Evaluation and grading

▪ Participants’ performance is assessed with written exam (50% of the mark) and a field assignment on
his/her own business (50%).
▪ Labs (class session without exams) are passed on the basis of the participation in class.
▪ Grades are given accordingly to the Italian scale as follows:

F. Exams

▪ Boot Camps and Long Week-ends usually start with exams,


▪ Participants arriving late to an exam will not be allowed to sit for it.
▪ Before sitting any exam, participants are required to pick the exam card from the MBA Administration.
▪ Makeup exams (for those that failed to sit for valid reasons) and supplementary exams (for those who
failed) will be offered only once.
▪ Exams modalities and/or evaluation criteria cannot be negotiated, especially after the exam has been
administrated.
▪ Participant will receive their grades within 30 working days. Exceptions may occur when an examination
is carried out right before a holiday period.

G. Assignments’ evaluation

▪ Courses include the submission of a specific assignment, introduced in class and discussed in the next
classroom session.
▪ Assignments count 50% of the grade for each course.
▪ Failing to submit assignment by the deadline (one week prior to the next classroom period) means receiving
a failure grade on that part of the course.

H. Participants’ feedback

▪ At the end of each course participants will be asked to give their feedback on the course and on the lecturer
by filling the Course Feedback form online.
▪ All the evaluations are administrated at the end of each course and before the sitting of exams.

I. Code of Honour

▪ Participants are expected to behave in an ethical and respectful manner towards the MBA and University
staff, Lecturers, Professors, Subordinate staff, Classmates and other participants of the University and any
external people involved in the MBA Program.
▪ Participants not observing this rule may be suspended or expelled from the Masters and the fees already
paid will not be refundable. Suspension or expulsion will be deliberated by the MBA Administration in
consultation with the Deputy Principal Participants Life.
▪ Participants are required to respect the local university’s dress code.

J. Damages

▪ Participants are responsible for any damages caused to any asset and or property of the Università Cattolica
del Sacro Cuore and its partner University and will respond personally.

K. Non-Disclosure

▪ Participants will treat with confidentiality any business documents (e.g. Business Plans, Pitches, Financial
Statements, etc.) of past and current MBA Alumni as well as other entrepreneurs.
▪ Participants agree to share their own business documents (e.g. Business Plans, Pitches, Financial
Statements, etc.) with judges, investors and other MBA Alumni upon their signature of Non-Disclosure
Agreement.

L. Policy modifications

▪ The MBA Direction reverses the right to modify any of the above policies.
▪ Participants will be immediately informed of the modifications.
