Responsibilities

 Achieving HSE Objectives and Safety Targets.

 Creating awareness among Employees about QHSE.
 Will assist HOD (QHSE) in identification, Risk assessment, control and recovery of Hazards and effects.
 Ensuring that the plant and Equipment used on site or at other locations are correctly registered,
controlled and maintained in a safe working condition.
 Conducting Safety induction to Mines (DGMS) and other rules & regulations.
 Emergency Drills in Coordination with Tool Pusher (H2S, FIRE, BOP, AND MAN DOWN) Forming of H2S
And Fire Rescue teams, training them and explaining them their roles and responsibilities, liaison with
the Fire and Rescue team in case of an emergency.
 Reporting Incident, Near Miss to Corporate HSE Department.
 Preparing JSA, Risk Assessment, Incident Summary analysis and Incident Investigation reports.
 Conducting Tool Box talk, Safety Meeting, Pre Job Safety Meeting.
 Maintaining up to date certification of Rig Tools/Equipments.
 Ensuring that the permit to work system and other HSE management tools are used correctly.
 Observing personnel on regular basis and monitor compliance with all safety related procedures,
Standards and policies.
 Advising the supervisors of risk levels for hazard in critical and non-routine activities.
 Providing positive reinforcement to crew to motivate and develop safe work practices.
 Maintaining MSDS and ensure to be up date.
 Responsible to take prompt corrective action as and when needed for continual improvement of the
Integrated Management Systems.
 Identification, evaluation and implementation of corrective actions as per hierarchy of control
measures as required. Tracking of Un-Safe acts and Un-Safe Practises.
 Implementation of STOP card system and monitoring it on day to day basis.
 Conducting Meeting with all the senior crew members on daily basis and review points are noted in an
Action Register with proper follow up.
