Eje 1: Before they were famous…

GRAMÁTICA: Past simple: verb to be. Prepositions: in, at, on: places. Past simple: have, go,
get. Irregular verbs. Revision of daily routine verbs. Past simple: regular verbs.
VOCABULARIO Y LECTURAS: I lived, I loved, I cried… Regular – Irregular verbs. What’s
the date today? Vocabulary: time and ordinal numbers. Vocabulary: Months.

Eje 2: On an island in Scotland…

GRAMÁTICA: There is / There are. Prepositions: Hotels; in, on, under. Dream town?: There
was / There were. Places. Strangers on a train. Revision of past simple. Object pronouns: me,
him, etc.
VOCABULARIO Y LECTURAS: Reading: Hotels with a difference. Vocabulary. Reading: one
man’s dream. Vocabulary: Asking and giving opinions.

Eje 3: What do you like doing?

GRAMÁTICA: Like + verb + -ing. Activities. Future: Be going to: (plans). Future time
expressions. Future: Be going to (predictions). The weather: verb collocation.
VOCABULARIO Y LECTURAS: Free time. I like… / I don’t like… Trip of a lifetime:
vocabulary and speaking. Asking and giving directions: prepositions of place.
Eje 4: Communication.
Revision: - Verb to be (interrogative, affirmative and negative, all persons). - Singular and
plural nouns. - Possessive adjectives; Possessive “s”. - Adjectives. - Present simple. Adverbs of
frequency. - Word order in questions; question words. - Can / Can’t: permission and possibility.
Past simple: be.

LECTURA: The adventures of Tom Sawyer.
