A GOOD DEED(RETURNING THE WALLET)

Adnan is a year six pupil at Sekolah Kebangsaan Bagan Datoh. He lived only with his
mother as he is the only child and his father has passed away since he was seven. He is a
helpful boy and has a heart of gold. Adnan and his mother earn their expenses by selling
food at his mother’s small stall. The stall is by the roadside. After school he will help his
mother to set up the stall which sells many types of food. One of the favourite foods that
always sold out is banana fritters. Almost every evening their customers will drop by their
stall to buy the banana fritters. All the customers are pleasant with him because he know
how to attract his customers by being friendly with them.

One fine evening, there was a style and handsome rich man came to their small stall
to buy some foods. After he paid for his foods, he turned around and took a couple of steps
towards his car which was parked a stone’s throw away from the stall. While he was putting
his wallet into his pocket, the wallet dropped off without his conscious. In the meantime,
while Adnan was walking around his stall, he saw something fell on the ground near his stall.
He went closer and took a looked at the stuff. It was a wallet! He picked it up right away and
opened the wallet to know who the owner of the wallet is. Then, he recognized the photos
inside the wallet. He ran hurriedly towards the rich man and called his named as loud as
thunder to return the wallet. Luckily, the man was still in his car and did not start the engine
yet.

The man shocked to see there was a boy ran after him. As Adnan reached the rich
man, he returned the wallet and told him what was going on. The man was grateful and
thanked him for being honest by returning the wallet. He awarded Adnan with some money
but Adnan refused to take the money as he did all the deed sincerely. The man was
impressed of him and tried to repay the kindness by offered Adnan and his mother to set up
a new permanent stall for them. He was happy and expressed his gratitude to the Almighty.
Same thing happened to his mother. She felt happy and proud as proud as a lion for having
a son like Adnan and all the kind deed that he had done. Since that day both of them lived
happily.
KIND DEED (help the old woman picking up the fruits)

Faiz is a twelve years old who is schooling at SK Taman Permai. He is a friendly and
helpful boy. He always listens to her parents. He also has a heart of gold. He has a best
friend named Chong Beng. They always go to school together back and forth by bus because
their house quite far from school.

One shiny day, while Faiz and Chong Beng waiting for a bus to go home after school,
they saw an old woman carried a basket full of vegetables on her right hand while on the
left hand she had a bag of fruit. She walked slowly as the bag and basket was heavily
weighted with the fruits and vegetables. She looked so weak on that shiny day. In the
meantime, Faiz saw the fruit bag got a small tore which was tends to tear easily anytime.
They continued looking at the old woman. All of a sudden, the bag tore as it could not carry
much weight anymore. All the fruits lying scattered on the pavement. The old woman was
shocked and knelt down tried to pick up the fruits one by one. Faiz and Cong Beng who saw
the incident felt pity with her.

Immediately, they ran towards her to help her to pick up the fruits that had fallen off
the pavement. The old woman felt grateful because there were still good youth in this world
who were willing to help old folks liked her. She thanked the boys and gave fruit for each of
them as a reward. Both of the boys refused to accept the gift because they did it sincerely.
After that, the old woman thanked the boys again and walked home. Faiz and Chong Beng
were happy for doing all the kind deed to the old woman. Later, they took a couple of steps
and continued waiting for the bus.
A BITTER LESSON

One fine sunny evening, Alina and her sister, Auni were playing their new ball at the garden
in their neighbourhood. They threw the ball to each other happily. They were having their
good time together while their parents went for working. Suddenly, while Auni threw the
ball to Alina, the ball slipped from her grasp and bouncing high over the fence accidentally.
Alina could not managed to keep hold of the ball. She failed to catch it.

At the same time, they heard a crash sound of broken window. They searched high
and low for the sound. All of sudden, they saw something unbelievable! Their ball had hit a
window pane of Mr. Sammy who was their neighbour. It’s broke and smashed to pieces on
the ground making a lot of noise. Both of the siblings became panicked and they could just
watch helplessly. They did not know what to do . Alina saw her sister’s face turned pale and
white as a sheet. She was going
Aiman, Raju and Chong are good friends. They are classmates also neighbours. They
are always together where ever they go wether to school or to play. They are very close and
faith to each other as faithful as a dog. They face their ups and down together. They will
help each other if one of them had trouble.

One breezy evening, Raju and Chong gathered at Aiman’s house to go play at the
park nearby their house. While they were cycling to the park, suddenly the sky went dark.
The wind was getting up and it becoming cloudy. The branches swaying in the wind. After
saw all this they turn around and changed their way to return home because it looked like
rain.

All of sudden, a lightning flashed overhead. It strike a tree beside them. They were
shocked to see the tree branch fell on the ground after struck by lightning. In the meantime,
Chong and Raju saw Aiman fell from his bicycle because he had bumped onto the broken
branch. He lost his control and fell down. He screamed painfully. Without delayed, both of
them rushed to help Aiman. His knee and elbow were bleeding. He had a badly injured.

Luckily, there was a car passing the road. The driver stopped the car and helped
them. He took out his mobile phone and called the ambulance. Few minutes later, an
ambulance came to the scene and took Aiman to the hospital immediately. After that , the
young man called Aiman’s parents and told them about the incident. Chong and Raju
followed the man to the hospital to see Aiman’s condition.

At the hospital, the doctor who treated Aiman told that Aiman would be warded
until he recovered from his injury. He also said that the injury was not too serious. Couple of
minutes later, Aiman’s parents reached there. After hearing about their son condition they
were so grateful and thanked the man, Chong and Raju for the deed that they had done to
their son. They advised Aiman to be more careful next time. Then, the man sent the boys to
their home.
