Importance of Customers to the Manger’s Job:

John Chambers, CEO of cisco Systems, wants to be more efficient and more
reliable to me customers. He thinks that, managers need customers, without
them, most organizations would cease exist. Mangers are realizing that delivering
consistent, high quality customer service is essential for survival and success in
today’s competitive environment and that employs are important part of that
equation.

Importance of Social Media:

Forms of electronic communication through which users create online

communities to share ideas, information, personal messages and other content.

Importance of Innovation to the Manager’s Job:

Innovation management is really just a form of looking into the future, being
creative and imaginative so that one can carve out a new niche before one’s
competition. Its not just the big companies that need to do this. Every business
must be innovate to compete.

Importance of Sustainability:

A company’s ability to achieve its business goals and increase long term
shareholder value by integrating economic, environmental and social
opportunities into its business strategies.
The Universality Of Management:

The universality of management is an important concept to consider in modern

management though when describing management as universal, we refer to the
widespread practice of management in all type of organizations.

The Reality of Work:

The reality of work, we get different kind of knowledge of Management from our
regular life. We shall probably have some managerial responsibilities even if we
are not leaders or managers, that mean we able to get managerial knowledge
from our real life.

Rewards and Challenges of Being a Manager:

There are many challenges, Managers often have to deal with a variety of
personalities and have to make do with limited resources and it can be a
challenge.
