NOTIFICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO MBBS AND BDS COURSES UNDER

COMPETENT AUTHORITY QUOTA FOR 2020- 2021 IN THE STATE OF
TELANGANA AFFILIATED TO KNRUHS, WARANGAL

Application forms online are invited from candidates who have qualified by securing the
following cutoff scores and above in National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Test (NEET) UG – 2020
for admission into the Under Graduate Medical and Dental Courses for the academic year 2020-21
under Competent Authority Quota in Government, Private Medical & Dental Colleges affiliated to
KNRUHS, Warangal in the State of Telangana.

This notification is issued for online registration for determining State Merit position for
web based counseling and admission into seats under Competent Authority Quota i.e., the seats in
Government Medical / Dental Colleges after deducting 15% of seats contributed to All India
Quota and Category ‘A’ seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority and Minority Medical colleges,
Private Un-aided Non-Minority Dental Colleges including Army Dental College, Hyderabad.
Total number of seats available under competent authority quota in all categories along with seat-
matrix for the academic year 2020-21 will be notified on KNRUHS website before first phase of
counseling. Tuition fee structure will be as notified by the Government of Telangana.

Candidates can register online and upload scanned certificates from 8 AM on

01-11-2020 to 08-11-2020 up to 5 PM on website https://tsmedadm.tsche.in .
Provisional Final Merit position of the applied candidates will be prepared based on NEET
UG– 2020 Rank and other eligibility criteria notified here under after verification of scanned
original certificates. In view of COVID-19 pandemic verification of uploaded certificates is
being done to determine provisional final merit list. Final verification of original certificates
will be conducted at the time of admission at allotted college by admission committee.

1. ELIGIBILITY:

The candidates, should have qualified in NEET UG – 2020 by securing marks of minimum
percentile and above have to apply for determining the State Merit position for Competent
Authority quota seats subject to the conditions specified in admission Regulations/Prospectus.
(Refer regulations/prospectus for detailed clarifications).

a) The candidate should be an Indian National or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas
Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holder and should satisfy the Local or Non-local status in
Telangana State as laid down in Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of
Admissions) Order, 1974. Selection will be done as per the procedure laid down in the G.O.P.No.
646, dated 10.07.1979 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC2) Department, dated
18.05.2009, G.O.Ms.No. 114 HM&FW(C1) Dept. Dated: 5-7-2017, subsequent amendments and
relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court/High Court orders.
b) The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent
examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Biotechnology and
English.
i. OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% marks in science subjects.
ii. BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science subjects.
iii. OC PH candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects.
iv. Candidates claiming reservation under EWS category also should obtain 50%
marks in science subjects.
c. The candidate should have qualified in NEET UG -2020.

d. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2020. The candidates
who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12-2020 need not attend the counseling. The
candidates born on or after 02-01-2004 are not eligible for admission into MBBS/BDS
Courses.
e. The candidates who wish to claim seats under Anglo Indian, CAP (Army), NCC, Persons
With Disability (PWD) and Police Martyrs Children (PMC) also need to fulfill the above
eligibility criteria.
 f. The candidates who claim for admission under Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category
shall mention in the online application as applying under PWD category and have to
appear before a Medical Board to be constituted for the purpose by the University as per
the schedule to be notified by the University for Eligibility under PWD status.

g. As per the Government Orders G.O.Ms.No.2, Youth Advancement Tourism &

Culture (Sports) Department Dt:22-09-2020 there will not be any admissions under
Sports Category for academic year2020-21.

2. The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus/Regulations available in the
website http://www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in/ before filling the online application form for
admission into MBBS & BDS Courses for the academic year 2020-21.

3. The NEET UG 2020 qualified and eligible candidates as per the concerned regulations who
desire to take admission in to UG Medical and Dental Courses in Government, Private Un-
aided Non-minority & Minority Medical colleges & Govt. Dental College and Private Non-
Minority Dental Colleges including Army dental College shall apply online and upload all
original certificates for determining the Merit position for Telangana State competent authority
quota in the Website https://tsmedadm.tsche.in from 8AM on 01-11-2020 to 08 -11-2020 up
to 5.00PM only. The online application can be filled through any computer with internet
connection or mobile with data connection.

4. Registration and Verification Fee for UG Medical and Dental Courses: - The Registration
and Verification fee Rs.3500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC & BC candidates and
Rs.2900/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST candidates shall be paid online through
Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.**

**Registration & verification fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.

5. The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course to verify for
eligibility under local/non local category.

6. Procedure of filling online application and online payment for MBBS and BDS Courses

i). The registration & verification fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net
Banking

ii). The registration & verification fee paid by the applicants is not refundable under any
 circumstances.
iii). Read the Notification, Prospectus / Regulations carefully.

mandatory
10. Procedure for submission of filled-in online Application form and Original certificates for
UG Medical Courses at the time of admission for final verification:-

a) On-line application form without uploading mandatory Certificates, Passport size photo,
without signature at declaration area, incomplete applications will be automatically rejected
and will not be considered for determining the Merit position in respective categories using
NEET– UG – 2020 Rank.
b) The mere fact that the Merit position issued to the candidate does not imply that the
candidature is accepted by the University and it does not mean that the entries made by the
candidate in the online application are accepted as true and correct.
c) Candidates may please note that the University will take up the verification of certificates
with regard to eligibility conditions i.e., educational qualifications, Local/Non-Local area
status, category status as per uploaded relevant certificates by the concerned department
officials. If the information furnished by the candidate in the application is incorrect, his/her
candidature is liable to be cancelled and further action that deemed fit will be taken.

d) Candidates eligibility for admission into UG courses for the academic year 2020-2021 will
be examined by the University only after scrutiny of application along with uploaded
copies of required certificates and provisional final merit list will be notified.
e) Online Registration along with uploading of Scanned Original certificates will be done only
once irrespective of the number of counseling. No separate notification will be given for
verification of original certificates. Therefore the candidates should register and upload all
the mandatory Certificates without fail.
f) Scrutiny of uploaded Original Certificates shall be done by the University and concerned
departmental officials. After scrutiny of application and certificates provisional final merit
list will be released. Candidates are advised to refer to KNRUHS website for further details
regarding schedule of exercising web options. No individual communication will be sent
g) Admissions will be in accordance with the Orders issued from time to time by Ministry of
Health & Family Welfare, Government of Telangana, Government of India, Medical
Council of India /NMC, Dental Council of India, relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court and
High Court orders and University regulations.
11. This notification is for online registration for determining the State Merit position in
respective categories using NEET – UG - 2020 Rank only for eligible candidates. The dates for
exercising web options for admission to UG MBBS/BDS courses will be notified separately on
University website. Candidates are advised to check the University web-site for
notifications, counseling schedules , seat matrix and other details from time to time.

12. An in-eligible candidate obtaining Merit position does not make the candidate eligible for
admission.

13. Admission will be considered only for candidates, who have secured marks above cutoff
score in NEET- UG-2020 exam and based on the state merit order as the case may be.

14. After allotment candidate should download the allotment order , submit the print-out of
the filled-in Online application form and original certificates along with (1) set of self
attested copies to the Principal of allotted college at the time of joining for final
verification by admissions committee of allotted college. In case of any discrepancy, the
provisional allotment order for admission will be cancelled.
