NOTIFICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO UNDER GRADUATE COURSES IN
AYURVEDA, HOMOEOPATHY, UNANI AND NATUROPATHY UNDER
COMPETENT AUTHORITY QUOTA FOR 2021-22 IN THE STATE OF TELANGANA
IN AYUSH COLLEGES AFFILIATED TO KNRUHS, WARANGAL

Application forms online are invited from the candidates who have qualified by
securing the following cutoff scores and above in National Eligibility-cum- Entrance
Test (NEET) UG – 2021 and fulfilled the following criteria for admission into Under
Graduate AYUSH Courses i.e., BAMS, BHMS, BUMS & BNYS for the academic year 2021-
22 under Competent Authority Quota in Government and Private AYUSH colleges
affiliated to KNRUHS, Warangal in the State of Telangana.

Notification is issued for online registration to determine State Merit position for
web based counseling and admission into Competent Authority Quota seats only i.e.,
after deducting 15% of intake of seats contributed to All India Quota from the seats in
Government AYUSH colleges and Private AYUSH Colleges. Total number of seats
available under Competent Authority Quota in all categories along with seat- matrix for
the academic year 2021-22 will be notified on KNRUHS website before exercising web
options for counseling. Tuition fee will be as notified by the Government of Telangana.

Minimum Qualifying Scores in NEET- UG- 2021 for Under Graduate BAMS,
BHMS, BUMS & BNYS courses:

Candidates should have secured the following cutoff score or above in NEET- UG-2021.

 Schedule for Registration of online application and uploading of original certificates:
Candidates can register online and upload scanned certificates on Website
https://tsbahnu.tsche.in from 10.00 AM on 31-01- 2022 to 5.00 PM on 6-02-2022 only.

Provisional final Merit position of the applied candidates will be prepared based
on the NEET UG - 2021 Rank and other eligibility criteria notified hereunder after
verification of scanned original certificates. Final Verification of original certificates will
also be conducted at the time of admission at allotted college by Admission Committee.

1. ELIGIBILITY :

Candidates, who have qualified in NEET- UG -2021 by securing marks of

cutoff score or above have to apply for determining the State Merit position
for Competent Authority quota seats subject to the conditions specified in
admission Regulations/Prospectus.

1.1 The candidate should be an Indian National and should satisfy the
Local or Non- Local status in Telangana State as laid down in Andhra
Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admissions) Order,
1974. Selection will be done as per the procedure laid down in the
G.O.P.No.646, dated:10-7-1979 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher
Education (EC) Department, dated:18.05.2009, subsequent
amendments and relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court/High Court
orders. Other state candidates are not eligible unless they fulfill above
criteria. Candidates are advised to refer to prospectus for details.

1.2 Educational Qualification :- In accordance with CCH/CCIM

Regulations

Candidates seeking admission into B.A.M.S./B.H.M.S/B.N.Y.S.

Courses should have passed Intermediate Examination (10 + 2
pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry,
Biology (Botany, Zoology)/ and English.
I. OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% Marks in the
science subjects.
II. BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40%
Marks in the science subjects.
 III. OC PWD candidates should obtain not less than
45%Marks in the science subjects.
IV. Candidates claiming reservation under EWS Category also
should obtain 50% marks in Science subjects.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION INTO BUMS COURSE AS PER

REGULATIONS OF CENTRAL COUNCIL OF INDIAN MEDICINE :
Admissions to Kamil-E-TIB-Wa-Jarahat course: A candidate seeking
admission to main Kamil-E-Tib-Wa-Jarahat (Bachelor of Unani Medicine
and Surgery – B.U.M.S.) Course must have passed.

i. Candidate must have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 or equivalent

examination recognized by Government of Telangana in the subjects
of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Candidate shall obtain
fifty percent aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology for
general Category and 40% marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes,
Scheduled Tribes and other Backward classes. In respect of PWD
candidates 45% aggregate marks shall be obtained.

ii. The candidate should have passed 10th/Intermediate with Urdu or
Arabic or Persian language as a subject or clear the test of Urdu of
10th/Intermediate (wherever there is provision to conduct of such
test) in the entrance examination conducted by the University or
Board or Registered Society or Association authorized by the
Government to conduct such examination

(or)
The Pre - Tib examination of one year duration

Note : Candidates possessing qualification of the University/Board or an

institution outside the State should enclose a certificate of equivalence
from Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana to the effect that
the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than
Intermediate examination with Biology, Physics, Chemistry and
English conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of
Telangana.
 1.3 Candidate should have qualified in NEET UG-2021
1.4 AGE: The Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-

2021 and not more than 25 years on 31-12-2021. The candidates who do
not complete 17 years as on 31- 12-2021 are not eligible for admission. The
candidates born on or after 02- 01-2005 are not eligible for admission into
BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/ BNYS Courses.
NOTE: 1) Age shall be calculated on the basis of date of birth as
mentioned in the Secondary School Certificate.
2) Relaxation of age eligibility criteria of a candidate will not be

permitted for under aged candidates.

3) Upper age limit may be relaxed by 5 years in case of SC, ST,

BC and PWD candidates.

1.5 The candidates who apply for reservation seats under CAP (Army),
NCC, Persons with Disability (PWD) also need to fulfill the above
eligibilitycriteria.
1.6 Candidates who claim for admission under Persons with Disabilities
(PWD) category shall mention in the online application as applying
under PWD category and have to appear for evaluation of their
disability status before a Medical Board to be constituted for the
purpose by KNR University of Health Sciences as per the schedule to
be notified by the University for eligibility under PWD status.

2. The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus/Regulations

available in the KNR UHS website www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in before filling
the online application form for admission into BAMS, BHMS, BUMS & BNYS
Courses for the academic year 2021-22.

3. The NEET UG 2021 qualified and eligible candidates as per the concerned
regulations who desire to take admission into UG AYUSH Courses in
Government and Private AYUSH Colleges shall apply online and upload all
original certificates for determining the Merit position for Telangana State
Competent Authority quota seats. . The online application can be filled through
any computer with internet connection or Mobile with Data connection.

4. Registration and Verification Fee for BAMS, BHMS,BUMS & BNYS Courses:-
The Registration and verification fee is Rs.2,500/-(Bank transaction charges extra)
for OC & BC category candidates and for SC/ST category candidates is Rs.2,000/-
(Bank transaction charges extra). Fee shall be paid online through Debit card /
Credit card or Net Banking.**

** Registration and verification fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a
further date.

5. The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course to
verify for eligibility under local/non local category..

6. Procedure of filling online application and online payment for BAMS,

BHMS,BUMS & BNYS Courses

i. Read the Notification, Prospectus/ Regulations carefully.

ii. The registration fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit
card or Net Banking.

iii. The registration fee paid by the applicants is not refundable

under any circumstances.
iv. Visit website through Computer with Internet connection or Mobile
with Data Connection to fill the application form.
v. Registration number sent to the registered mobile after entering the
basic data should be noted for further use. The Registration number
should be kept confidential and not to be disclosed to others.

7. The following Documents are required (PDF format):

a. Admit card of NEET UG - 2021
b. Rank card of NEET UG-2021
c. SSC or equivalent examination containing the Date of Birth
d. Memorandum of marks of qualifying examination i.e., Intermediate or
Equivalent examination.

e. Pre-Tib examination Certificate for BUMS course if applicable.

f. Transfer certificate (T.C)
g. Study Certificate(s) from 6th class to Intermediate.
 h. Latest Permanent Caste Certificate (Integrated Community Certificate)
claiming reservation under BC/SC/ST Categories issued by competent
authority of Govt. of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh

i. Aadhar Card

j. Minority certificates issued by the concerned Department.

k. Candidates who have studied in the institutions outside of Telangana have
to submit 10 years (years of period to be specified) residence certificate of the
candidate excluding period of study or 10 years residence certificate either
of the parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar of Govt. of Telangana/AP.

l. The candidates claiming fee exemption shall produce the latest Income
certificate of the Parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar of Govt.of Telangana.

m. Undertaking in the form of Affidavit by the Parent and candidate stating

that the caste and area mentioned in the certificates are genuine and they
will be held responsible for any further consequences as per law if any
discrepancy noticed. (See Annexure-III).

n. Residence certificate issued by MRO of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh for

candidates appeared privately.

o. Candidates claiming eligibility of reservation under Special categories CAP

and NCC should furnish the required certificate in support of their claim.

p. EWS Certificate issued for the year 2021-22 for claiming reservation under
EWS Categories issued by competent authority (Tahasildar) of State of
Telangana (If applicable).

8. Visit website through Computer with Internet connection or Mobile with Data
Connection to fill the application form.
9. Fill in all the details in the online application form and upload all the documents
which are mandatory.
10. Important information for candidates:-

1. Online application form without uploading mandatory Certificates, Passport size

photo, without signature at declaration area, incomplete applications will be

 automatically rejected and will not be considered for determining the Merit
position in respective categories using NEET-UG-2021 rank.

2. The mere fact that the Merit position issued to the candidate does not imply that

the candidature is accepted by the University and it does not mean that the
entries made by candidate in the online application are accepted as true and
correct.

3. Candidates may please note that the University will take up the verification of

original certificates with regard to eligibility conditions i.e., NEET UG-2021 Rank,
educational qualifications, local/non local area status, category status as per
uploaded relevant certificates by the concerned department officials. If the
information furnished by the candidate in the application is incorrect, his/her
candidature is liable to be cancelled and further action that deemed fit will be
taken.

4. Candidates eligibility for admission into UG AYUSH courses for the academic

year 2021-22 will be examined by the University only after scrutiny of application
along with all uploaded copies of required certificates and provisional final merit
list will be notified.

5. Registration along with uploading of scanned original certificates will be done

only once irrespective of the number of counselings. No separate notification
will be issued for verification of original certificates. Therefore, the candidates
should register and upload all the mandatory certificates without fail.

6. This notification is for online registration for determining the State Merit position
in respective categories using NEET-UG-2021 rank only for eligible candidates. The
schedule for exercising web options for admission to UG AYUSH courses will be
notified separately on university website. Candidates are advised to check the
university website for notifications, counseling schedules, seat matrix and other
details from time to time.
7. An in-eligible candidate obtaining merit position does not make the candidate

eligible for admission. Admission will be considered only for candidates, who
have secured marks above cutoff score in NEET – UG – 2021 exam and based on
the state merit order as the case may be.

8. Scrutiny of uploaded original certificates shall be conducted by the university and

concerned department officials. After scrutiny of application and certificates

provisional final merit list will be released. Candidates are advised to refer to
KNRUHS website for further details regarding schedule for exercising web
options. No individual communication will be sent.
9. Admissions will be in accordance with the Orders issued from time to time by

Government of Telangana, Government of India, CCIM /CCH , relevant Hon'ble

Supreme court and High Court orders. University regulations with regard to
Admission into AYUSH Courses shall also apply.
10. After allotment candidate should download the allotment order, submit the

printout of the filled-in online application form, allotment order, Bonds and
original certificates along with (1) set of self attested copies to the Principal of
allotted college, and pay the college fee and tuition fee at the time of joining. The
admission committee is responsible for scrutiny of the original certificates
submitted by the candidate. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment
order for admission will be cancelled.
