To change the page colour in word you have to make sure that you on the right Tab so that

youre able to
work faster. I will be directing you how to change the page colour and insert a border in Word.

To change the page colour :

1. According to the version of Microsoft Word that you have, you can go to the tab called Design or
Page Layout. (if you unsure which one you have try both)

2. Look for the Page Colour button

3. There is an down arrow at the side of the button as shown in the screenshot, click on it and
choose the colour you would like to use . ( if you don’t find the colour you want you can go to
the more color option as shown in the colour box.
To Insert a border:

1. According to the version of Microsoft Word that you have, you can go to the tab called Design or
Page Layout. (if you unsure which one you have try both)

2. Look for the Page border button

3. When you have clicked on the Page border button, a new window pops up. There you are able
to use lines as your border, change the size of that line or you can use the Art option (Boxed off
in red).

4. Once you have choosen the Art option you can scroll down to view the different art styles
( border that is a tree) avaliable to be used.
