1. Check (and replace if needed) the seal ring on the transmission housing. Lube the seal ring with oil before installing the
transmission.

2. Angle the transmission forward and lower it into place.


NOTE!
Work very carefully to avoid trapping and crushing cable harnesses and hydraulic hoses on the machine as well as the
sensors on the transmission. Risk of crushing injuries.

3. Fit the transmission against the flywheel housing.


Keep the lifting device tight.
Fit and tighten the bolts on the transmission housing's upper half.
Tightening torque: 90 Nm (66.5 lbf ft)

4. Fit the transmission brackets on both sides of the transmission.

5. Fit and tighten the bolts on the transmission housing's lower half.
Tightening torque: 90 Nm (66.5 lbf ft)

6. Lift the transmission slightly at the rear edge and remove the spacers under the flywheel housing.
Lower the transmission into place and tighten down the transmission brackets on both sides.
Remove the lifting device.

7. Fit the hydraulic connections for the level glass and parking brake.
Fit the oil filler pipe and hose connections from fan/brake pump/transmission oil cooler to the transmission's left side.

8. Fit the hoses for the CDC valve.

9. Refit the cable harnesses and plug in connectors on the transmission.

10. Fit the hoses on the left steering cylinder.

11. Fit the distribution block on the frame. Connect disconnected hoses.

12. Fit the measuring block inside the left step.

13. Fit the hydraulic pump.

15. Lift the hydraulic tank into place, connect disconnected hoses.

16. Fit the propeller shafts to the transmission.

17. Fit the cab.

18. Fill transmission oil and hydraulic oil.

19. Bleed the hydraulic system, see Hydraulic system, bleeding section 9.

20. Test-run and check for leaks, top up (if needed) with hydraulic oil, transmission oil and coolant.
