Lab 10: Common Emitter Amplifier

Objective

The explain of common emitter amplifier

Components:

 Function generator
 NPN transistor
 Bread board
 Resistor
 Capacitor

Theory:

Common emitter amplifier:

It is also called common emitter amplifier because the emitter of the

resistor is common to both the input circuit and output circuit. The input
signal is given across the ground and the base circuit the resistor.
The common emitter circuit is most used of junction, transistor
amplifiers.

Procedure:

The following is a schematics diagram of a common emitter amplifier.

The base is biased through a voltage divider and the emitter is biased
through an emitter resistor. The input signal injected into the base and
the output signal is taken of the collector.
Calculation:

Conclusion:
In this we understand about common emitter amplifier and read how
it work and how to make its circuit diagram and we calculate its q point
and gain voltage.
