SHOW and TELL

Theme: SciMaTech: Fundamentals of Reimagining the Future WEaLth


( Wellness, Education, Livelihood)

A. Mechanics
1. The “Show and Tell” is open for all the students of National Christian Life College. Participants will
be categorized according to their grade level.
Category 1: Grade 7 and 8- Health
Category 2: Grade 9 and 10- Health
Category 3: Senior High School- Livelihood
2. All participants must submit their entry on or before November 27, 2020 to their SciMaTech
teachers.
3. Participants must create a vlog or video himself while performing activities in line with the theme.
Participants must show activities that can manifest resilience during these trying times. ex. Student is or
was able to do gardening, cooking, selling or made something from scratch (recycling some scrap
materials or old materials to something useful and beneficial).
4. At least, but not limited to, one participant each section.
5. Document through a video recording (introducing oneself, showing such activities and describing
what one did, what inspired one to do it and sharing the learning/s from these activities) with a title,
short caption and name of the student who made such activities showing resilience. Limit the recorded
video to only 5 minutes.
6. Name of the student and his/her Grade level and Section should be written below the video for easy
recording.
7. Final entry should be submitted by sending a clear recorded video to their SciMaTech teachers.
8. Winners will be posted in the NCLC FB page.
9. Winners will receive certificate and recognition.

B. Criteria for Judging:


Relevance to the Theme: 40%
Creativity and Presentation: 20%
Skills Development: 15%
Originality: 25%

ONLINE BATTLE OF THE WIZARDS

1. For Junior High School Students Only


1.1 The competition will be level-wide. Separate competition for grade 7, 8, 9, and 10. Five groups
per level. The members of each group will be coming from different section.
Grade 7 – 4 members per group (one from each section)
8 - 4 members per group (one from each section)
9 - 4 members per group ( 2 from SPJ, and 1 from Humility and Gratitude)
10- 4 members per group ( 2 from SPJ, and 1 from Integrity and Joy)

1.2 Each section should have 4-5 representative according to their level population.
1.3 The Quiz bee will be done via Zoom. Participants will divided into breakout rooms. Each
breakout rooms or group will have assigned teacher to monitor and score them.
1.4 The game master will give the question via chat.
1.5 The quiz bee will have 3 rounds easy (10 questions), average (5 questions), and difficult (3
questions)
1.6 Schedule of Battle.
Grade 7- Nov. 23
Grade 8- Nov. 24
Grade 9- Nov. 25
Grade 10- Nov. 26

Time: 4:15- 5:15 pm. Participants shall be excused in their last subject.
1.7 Questions will be made by their SciMaTech Teachers. Deadline of question will be on
November 13,

INFORMERCIAL
1.1 All SHS students will be grouped in to 10. All are required to join for this will be
considered Performance Task for the Second Quarter.
1.2 Those who will join the Show and Tell will be exempted in Informercial.
1.3 Participant must create an INFOMERCIAL in line with the theme.
1.4 The AVP must last for 2 to 3 minutes only.
1.5 English will be used as medium.
1.6 Deadline: November 20, 2020
1.7 The avp must be submitted to their Science teacher. In this format ( Group number_
Grade_Section)
1.8 Science Teachers are in charge to group the students.
1.9 Criteria:
Content: 40%
( relevance to the theme, organization of thought, knowledge)
Creativity: 30%
(Originality)
Aesthetic Value:30%
(visual appeal, audio and video clarity)
