IWAS DROGA (Iwaksi at Wakasan ang Salot na DROGA) is a program proposed by the

Supreme Students Government that aims to address the societal problem regarding the use of
illegal drugs by means of providing realization and integration to the school.
Adolescents and young adults in high school and college face many unique pressures and
stressors in their lives. They may be more influenced by social pressures and more likely to
engage in risky behaviors than other age groups.
According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), by the time individuals reach their
senior year of high school, 70 percent will have tried alcohol, 50 percent will have abused an
illicit drug, 40 percent will have smoked a cigarette, and 20 percent will have used a prescription
drug recreationally, or for nonmedical purposes.
Having these in mind should strengthen the will to empower the students that the use of
dangerous drug will not benefit them in any way. This activity will also serve as a tool of strength
that will made them realize how to live a life without any stain of drugs in their way or for the
other option, not to stay and to terminate.
Through the combination of creative minds and care for the people, the organization conducts
this program in a friendly manner; considering the fact that, a shot in character while allowing
them to have actuality will last longer instead of dictating them on what to do and forcing them
not to.
