Positive space refers to areas where the subject is positioned. Negative space is the area
surrounding the subject. Or in other words, positive space is the focus area whilst negative
space is the background. ... Notice how the negative space forms these unique shapes.

2. Follow the procedures of creating you POS – NEG ACTIVITY.

3. Make sure that your have all your art materials before doing your art activity.
4. You can create your own design using geometrical figures.
5. You are only allowed to use BLACK PERMANENT MARKER for your art activity.
6. While doing the preparation and on the process of making your paper weave, make sure to take a
picture as part of the documentation. Copy paste at least 4 pictures of your activity on the
PROCESS part (Initial and Preparation).
7. If you are done with the Performance Task – PAPER WEAVING, take a picture of your final output
and copy paste it on the FINAL OUTPUT template of this activity sheets for documentation.
NOTE: you can directly type your answers on the following questions. Do not forget to also type your
name on the first page of this activity sheets for Performance Task – POSNEG ACTIVITY.

Task:
Submit it online following the instructions same with the ONLINE STUDENTS as
mentioned above. Or
Submit the actual/ output Positive and Negative Performance Task attached in
this ACTIVITY SHEET to your respective Guidance Counselors for checking and
recording of your grades or scores.
