INTRODUCTION

Plants are the very precious part of earth. Earth is called a green planet

because of the presence of plants. They are also most essential part of the life of

all the organism living on the earth. Some of the important roles of plants are:

Providing fresh oxygen, reduces pollution level, shelter and food.

Because of its rich fertile soil which makes crops grow strong, the

Philippines is still mainly an agricultural state. The municipality of Silang in the

province of Cavite is a first class landlock municipality. Silang's vastness makes it

a haven for real estate development, industrial, commercial, and agro-industrial.

Fertile soil and plenty of water make Silang suitable not only growing commercial

crops, but also high value crop production and exotic crops. There are plants,

healthy vegetables, shrubs and flowers in Silang as well (Tenorio et. al, 2016).

In its most pared down sense, a seminar is a meeting in which people can

learn about a topic. Many small businesses owners often wonder whether they can

justify attending or sending staff to one. Learning about seminar purposes could
2

help small business people decide whether attending one would worthwhile

(Agadoni, 2019).

Jardin Bien Planté is offering a combination of garden plants and seminar

services. They are serving ornamental plants like: Marigold, Senante, Silver

Queen, Conchita, Mayana and Chichirica, as well as training and seminar service

long it will germinate and grown etc.

Just looking at them, it can make you smile effortlessly. It has a lot of benefits like

it helps reduce stress and feeling of well-being. Plants also improve air quality

have different choices when they are buying plants. Not just by offering products

but the business also have service to those willing to learn more about planting, by

Rosal, Alfredo Silang, Cavite Filipino 100%

Table 1. Proposed Proponent of the Business

Table 1 shows the proposed proponent of the business, his address,

nationality, and ownership’s percentage.

Proposed Named of the Project

The students chose Jardin Bien Planté for their business name, so that

people can already know that they offer plants. They believed that linking business

name with the products they sell is equally important. Jardin Bien Planté is a

French translation of well planted garden and instead of using English words they

used French language to become more appealing to the people. They came up to

this name because all the plants in this garden are well cared by the owners.

Type of Business Organization

The project is single proprietor where a business owned and managed by

a single person. The advantages of this kind of business are the owner has the

freedom to make all the decision, he has the full enjoyment to of the all profits

made and it is easier to set up. While the disadvantages of it are the proprietor

might be possible of lack in the ability to manage the business and he has unlimited

liability since he is the only one who owned and managed the business

(Tasmanian Government, 2019).

6

Location of the Business

Figure 1. Location of the business

7

Figure 1 shows the location of the business. Jardin Bien Planté is located

at Purok 4 Pulong Bunga, Silang Cavite near Banio Kreek. The place measures

1500 square meters. Silang is a town of great potential from its vast land area

suitable for agriculture. It can be reached by bus, or by jeepney. Coming from

Manila, it will take 2 hours to reach the town proper. Silang is accessible by land

transportation. Major road networks to and from Laguna and Batangas traverse it

making the town a potential trading center for agricultural products while enjoying

an environment that is free of traffic and pollution problems. Commuters are

assured of smooth travel within the borders of the municipality with of its good road

networks of approximately 187.83 km (Loyola, 2009).

In Jardin Bien Planté practice, there will be cleaning of the office and the
