Sensing-Thinking Mastery Style (ST):

 All lessons, except for the math, have a mini lesson in PowerPoint format where the

teacher will give direct instruction

 Students have the opportunity to practice finding the mood using illustrations through

the guided reading stations (Reading Lesson)

 Students observe the video of how to make the paper airplane before making one of

their own (Science 1 Lesson)

 Students have hands on experience with measuring to the nearest quarter inch with

rulers (Math Lesson)

 Students participate in active learning as a part of the Aerodynamics Lab where they

test paper airplane modifications to see what will make it fly farther (Science 1 Lesson)

MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES:

1. Bodily Kinesthetic: Students are active in their learning through the completion of the

Aerodynamics Lab (Science 1 Lesson)

2. Logical Mathematical: Students follow a set of steps to have hands on experience with

measuring to the nearest quarter inch.

Sensing-Feeling Interpersonal Style (SF):

 Students will work in a group during the Measurement Scavenger Hunt (Math Lesson)

 Students will work in groups during the guided reading stations (Reading Lesson)

 Students will work in groups during the Aerodynamics Lab (Science 1 Lesson)

 Students can share their personal feelings about the book used in the guided readings

(Reading Lesson)
 Students have the opportunity to share the word choice revisions they made to their

own piece of writing (Writing Lesson)

MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES:

1. Interpersonal: Students working in groups during the Measurement Scavenger Hunt

(Math Lesson), the guided reading stations (Reading Lesson), and the Aerodynamics Lab

(Science 1 Lesson).

2. Linguistic: Students sharing their personal feelings about books they are reading

(Reading Lesson) and sharing their word choice revisions (writing lesson)

Intuitive-Thinking Understanding Style (NT):

 Students will have the opportunity to solve problems on the issue of deforestation by

collecting and evaluating research data to come up with a potential solution to lessen

the damaging effects of deforestation on the environment (Science 2 Lesson)

 Students will discuss in groups which solution to deforestation is the most logical

according to the criteria of potential effectiveness (Science 2 Lesson)

 Students have the opportunity to read as a part of guided reading stations (Reading

Lesson)

 Students have the opportunity to work independently during the research portion of the

deforestation investigation (Science 2 Lesson)

1. Intrapersonal: Students have the opportunity to work independently during the
