Collaborated with development team to update application user’s guide to reflect changes made to the application by
documenting the functionality of the app and highlighting new features. I also provided market research on
competitive products and improved the layout/visual design of the final guide.

● Collaborated with application developers and other subject matter experts for ThinkRite Assistant (TRA), a
remote meeting management product, on the rewrite of their User’s Guide

● Documented application features and functionality while integrating user experience feedback and adhering
to the IBM Style Guide standards

National Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children


Grant Reviewer April 5, 2010– August 6, 2012

Controlled the funds allocation process for the annual affiliate grant cycle and evaluated each applicant agency’s
program impact, financial sustainability, and the strength of each agency’s volunteer program, among other things. I
collaborated with a team of five and was given 45+ grant applications for review to ultimately recommend a small
portion for funding.

Dress for Success Atlanta


Director of Operations March 2, 2009 – August 1, 2011

Promoted to Director of Operations on the first day of employment. I ultimately took over the responsibilities of two
staff members in a new consolidated role. As the manager of both the suiting and interview preparedness programs,
in addition to my role as the operations director, I grew our corporate partnerships significantly, recruited more
volunteers, and saw more clients than at any other point in the agency’s history.

● Obtained $18,000 in revenue in 2010 via third-party event partnerships developed with local fashion
designers and business associations. ​Solicited and obtained an additional $15,000 in-kind donations from
corporate partners such as Veriz​on, Deloitte, Bank of America and Accenture

● Responsible for writing all communication material, including marketing, volunteer solicitations, social
media updates, and correspondence with stakeholders, donors, community partners and funders

● Managed the logistics and daily operations of Dress for Success Atlanta, an agency which served 2,001
clients in 2010 through the Interview Preparedness and Career Center programs, providing resume
preparation, suiting and skills workshops to women from 43 partner agencies, including the AARP, Atlanta
Union Mission, Mary Hall Freedom House and Partnership Against Domestic Violence

● Recruited, trained and managed a rotating team of 25+ volunteers, 3 interns and 1 staff member.
Responsible for the creation and implementation of training materials for partners and volunteer leadership

● Represented Dress for Success Atlanta at community and corporate events, fundraisers and drives.
Cultivated new resources, volunteers and partners through the planning of several large annual events and
special collaborations with other agencies and corporate partners

● Developed and launched a Career Development Coaching program, which provides one-on-one coaching
between qualified volunteers and clients. Developed and facilitated the program development focus group,

Helped manage over 700 volunteers a week, responsible for driving meal delivery when necessary and leading teams
of volunteers to pack insulated bags for weekly evening routes.

Managed a team of ten members and took on work from additional departments such as Corporate Partnerships and
Marketing. Responsible for writing learning materials, orientation materials, project proposals, and concept papers. I
also assisted with special events, such as the Patti LaBelle/John Legend benefit concert, managed CAAC program
logistics, and represented the agency at Volunteer Fairs. It was a great opportunity to gain new skills while supporting
the organization during a tough time.

computer literacy.

● Solicited and obtained over $2,000.00 in in-kind donations for events and general resident needs

● Planned National Youth Service Day 2007, an event that impacted over 200 individuals in need, recruited
100+ volunteers

● Developed an ongoing program on financial literacy that engaged and served 30 residents over a
three-month period

● Wrote curriculum for the East Lake YMCA 2007 Summer Camp, impacting 120 children
