What is Orientation?

Orientation Week began in 1934 as a way to introduce the new class of

students to the traditions and values that make up the University of
Chicago. This year, Orientation will occur in three virtual phases. Each phase
will consist of both mandatory and optional programming to help with your
transition to UChicago.
