2. Explain the duties and responsibilities of each player.


 Association is an organized body that promotes and enhances
common interest activity purpose. Associations were in the form of
guilds which were organized to obtain proper wages and to
maintain work standards.
 Convention centers a comprehensive convention center is a public
assembly facility which is designed to most meetings and exhibits
under the roof. It has provision for banquet, food and beverage and
concession service.
 Conference centers is a specialized hospitality operation which
aims to facilities and support small to medium size meetings of 20
to 50 people. Conference centers are different from conventions
center because majority of conference centers provide overnight
accommodations for their participants.
 Corporate meeting planners attend the events they coordinate.
Also guest attendees. Monitor the scheduled activities and ensure
that clients are satisfied with the event.
 Independent meeting planners works on a freelance basis for
business that do not have meeting planners on staff.

hotels?
 Convention centers can cater massive numbers of guests than
hotel services while hotel services can cater only limited guests.

5. The role on incentive travel in the tourism industry.


 The incentive travel basically implies unforgettable and
entertaining trips paid by employers, with the main purpose of
encouraging employees to reach challenging business goals of the
company by achieving individuals and/or group goals. The
incentive travel is predominantly used with the basic aim of
increasing sales.

1. Explain how fun and enjoyment at the workplace can boost employee
productivity.
 A highly productive workforce is the strongest asset for any
organization. Their motivation energy and state of mind are the
most important factors that give direction to the company they are
working with. Happy employees are more likely to give their best
efforts, without pushing themselves too far and stressing out.
2. Discuss briefly the five tips that could help the management boost
employee productivity while having fun and enjoyment at the workplace.
 Set collective goals and break them down we often hear about the
importance of setting personal goals and restating them on a
regular basis with companies, it’s even more important since there
are a lot of people whose eyes need to be kept on the ball.
 Keep track of performance records are important for any project,
and boosting your employees morale is no different. Having the
entire picture will enable you to identify the specific units and
you’ll also be able to compare the results in different periods to see
the effectiveness of your plan over time.
 Open communication channels an open atmosphere that
encourage feedback is crucial to the motivation of your employees.

performance without causing a negative reactions and it’s what

 These recreational activities give the entire team leadership and
employees alike, a chance to understand each other’s strengths
and weaknesses. This knowledge can be put into play while
working and can help increase productivity and provide betterment
to the work life of the employees.

4. What could be the disadvantages of incorporating leisure and


recreational activities at the workplace?

5. Is listening to music considered as leisure and recreation?


 Music constitutes a leisure activity for many people, either through
listening or making music. For some, singing or playing constitutes
a “serious” leisure activity while for others it is recreational.

6. Explain your personal opinion why music can and cannot boost
employee’s productivity.
 Listening to music at work can make you more productive,
according to research. Listening to your favorite music in the
workplace can be a mood enhancer. The consequent positive state
of mind can improve your capacity for creative problem-solving and
increase your productivity levels.
