PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE:​ Greetings.
MATERIALS: ​Balloons, flashcards, hats, music, cardboard circles, hole.

WARM UP:

Stage 1:​ T plays “If you are happy” song and Ss have to listen to it, sing and dance.

PRESENTATION: ​T shows colourful hats and says: this is red. Ss have to repeat three
times using drillings.

GUIDED PRACTICE:

Stage 1: T shows flashcards and real objects with different colours. Ss have to repeat
three times using different drillings.

Appendix 1

Stage 2: T shows different flashcards of colours. T ask Ss, one bye one, what’s colours
is this? Red or blue? Ss have to answer in the correct way.

FREE PRACTICE:

Stage 1: ​T hands out a photocopy with different characters or objects (Bob Esponja,
Pitufos, apple, banana, etc) Ss have to paint with the correct colour.

FOLLOW UP:
Stage 1: T sticks on the floor a “line” where Ss have to stay. T. T hands out coloured
cardboard circles which Ss have to hole in the stick that corresponds.
