AIMS:​ Colours.

PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE: ​Commands.
MATERIALS​: paper ball, real objects, colour papers, music.

WARM UP: ​Paper ball. Teacher presents a paper ball and explains rules.
Students have to throw the ball to each other, unwrap it, look the images of
commands and say what is it?

PRESENTATION: ​Teacher introduces the new topic showing reals objects with
colours ( fruit, clothes, classroom objects). T says what colours is it, Ss have to
repeat three times using drillings. Then T hands out a photocopy with new
vocabulary. Ss have to write the date and stick it on the notebook.

GUIDED PRACTICE: ​T plays a game with a ball. T sticks papers or circles with
different colours on the board. Teacher calls one students and say a colour, Ss
have to throw the ball to the correct circle and repeat it the new vocabulary.

FREE PRACTICE:
Stage1 : ​T hands out a photocopy with images. Ss have to write what colour is
it? Appendix 1
Stage2: ​T hands out a photocopy. Ss have to match the colours with the
corresponding name.

FOLLOW UP: ​T plays a game. T hands out all of the colored papers, 1 color
per Ss. T tell us to sit down, say a color (e.g “red” and the Ss holding that color
have to quickly stand up, jump and then sit down. T shows a example with her
helper. T starts off slowly and get faster and faster.

EXTRA ACTIVITY: T hands out a photocopy where Ss find the colours and the
name of them in distinct order. E.g: RED → DRE. Ss have to write in the correct
order.
