Using songs in the classroom!

I  would  like  to  create  a  list  of  songs  that  could  be
helpful  for  us  to  use  in the classroom to present or
review any topic… or have fun with our students.

The  idea  is  to  share  the  link  of  the  song  and  some
ideas on how to implement it in class…

Let’s start…

★ Roar by katy perry
I like this song… I have used it at different levels and with different purposes… students
will love it! try it! Now, it’s your turn...
★ I like using Yellow Submarine, by the Beatles, mostly because my students
find the rhythm quite unusual!! It’s an old song for them!! There are some lines
in Past Simple. We can mix the lines and ask the students to put them in the right
order while listening. Than I asked them to draw the yellow submarine! The
results were amazing! (Liliana C)
★ I really like Adele, music for the soul and voice of an angel. Check this link:
Someone like you (Vero)
★ I like using Head and shoulders with my students to round up the class. They
really enjoy the song(Silvina)
★ I really like the way my topic is improving!!!! Of course I’ll put them into
practice!!! Thanks a lot! :) (Soledad)
