Content Standards
Demonstrate understanding of the musical characteristics of representatives music from the
highlight of Luzon , Mindoro, Palawan and the Visayas
Performance Standards
Performs selected vical and instrumental music of cordillera, Mindoro, Palawan, and the
Visayas in appropriate style
Learning competencies / objectives
at the end of the lesson, the student should be able to;
a. identifies the different secular music from the Lowlands of Luzon
b. sings folksongs of the Lowlands of Luzon accompanied by improvised instrument available in
surrounding and create appropriate movements or gestures to accompany the music selections
c. appreciate the significant social functions and purposes of secular music
